Our Expansion Plans

The activities at our Northside Outreach Center has already outgrown the space!  We are in the planning phase of expanding our building space, creating an additional 8,000 sq. ft. community center.  The architect's drawings can be seen below.

Here is a street shot of our proposed expansion.  The left portion, with the red door, is the existing space that currently houses our NOC Thrift Store and is used to mentor, tutor, and help our Richmond Northside neighborhood.

The right portion of the building complex, with the brick fascia, is the proposed building expansion.  With this space we will be able to triple the number of students we can serve in our after school program, expand our Thrift Store, and add several new ministries to the community including adult literacy classes, job skills training, a private school, and a food pantry.

Here is the back-view of the proposed expansion as seen from Giles Ave (coming from the residential part of the neighborhood).

This parking lot is currently an open field.

In addition to expanding our ability to actively serve our community, we hope that the new building will help the "look and feel" of the neighborhood and give us and our neighbors another source of pride in the Highland Park community.
